Team Res members Alistair McDonald, Jack Underwood, Josh Lewis and Matt Lightfoot were there to represent. The forms got under way midday starting with Traditional Hard Style katas then Creative and Extreme Sections. First up for Res was Matt performing his Creative open hand routine which gave him the win over other competitors becoming ISKA South West Champion 2011. All members entered into the Forms Grand Champion section to win the title belt. It was tough competition but there was one competitor who stood out from the rest with an adrenaline pumping form that won the judges decision Matthew Lightfoot, congratulations. The series will launch on Disney XD Thursday 8th September at 5:00pm and is set to follow in the success of hit shows “Pair of Kings” and “Zeke and Luther”.

The brand new series follows a crew of lovable misfits, who welcome a hotshot skateboarder named Jack, who teaches a group of neighborhood geeks about life, karate and how to just plain kick it. Leading the talented cast includes Jason Earles ("Hannah Montana") as Rudy, Leo Howard (Disney Channel's short-form series "Leo Little's Big Show") as Jack, Mateo Arias ("Cold Case," "Hannah Montana,") as Jerry, Dylan Riley Snyder ("Life During Wartime") as Milton, Alex Jones as Eddie and Olivia Holt ("Black & Blue") as Kim.

- Sunday 28th November 2010
Sunday 28th November was the day everyone has been waiting for, it marked the biggest Street Dance, Break Dance, Martial Arts Tricking and Forms event of the year "Enter The Battle" at the 02 Arena Indigo Room. Joe Hallett was taking part in the "Triple Threat" competition with fellow Team Resurrection member Mikey French and BBoy Swifty they were called MSJ. This was a totally new concept where crews would be made up of 1x XMA Competitor 1x Martial Arts Tricker and 1x BBoy they would perform a routine and battle it off until the judges decide an overall winner. Also on the show there were performances from Akai, Steady (Flawless), Justin Rhymes (Street Dance 3D), BBoy Ivan, Big City Brains (Denmark) and the Shoalin Monks (Britain’s Got Talent) the list goes on. The whole show was presented by Kymberlee Jay. There was a Street Dance competition where crews from all over the UK came to the event to take home the cash prize of 3K. After the results were in for the Street Dance competition it was on with Triple Threat. BBoy Ivan hosted this part of the show flipping his way on to the stage and curtains were drawn and then opened again with all the crews around Bboy Ivan the crowd erupted. Each crew then performed their routine. MSJ performed an outstanding routine showing all their skills off. But it wasn’t good enough to take them to the crew battle finals. Next it was XMA VS XMA, this was time for Joe to show off his kicking skills and he did coming out all guns blazing throwing some difficult combinations pulling out all the stops using his Nunchaku making the crowd get up on their feet and screaming for more. When the judges voted, Joe didn't take the win but he was pleased with his performance. Many people from the audience did come up afterwards and say they had him for the win which makes it all much better he came there to entertain the crowd and that was exactly what he did. Overall the show was a great success; if you missed it make sure to watch out for it hitting your TV screens very shortly and on DVD. You can also purchase Enter The Battle merchandise at discounted prices from www.enterthebattle.co.uk

Team Resurrection members Joe Hallett and Mikey French have recently finished working on a new BBC3 series titled "Wu -How". The series is a take on old how do videos where ninjas give you the knowledge of wisdom. Joe and Mikey played various ninjas in the series showing off his weapon and acrobatic skills. They both choreographed all the fight scenes from hand combat to all the sword fights. Joe attended the wrap party last month where he watched all ten episodes, which have turned out amazing. So watch out for this new series hitting your TV'S and the web very soon.
